Sign up for the Wilmington General Store site

The Wilmington General Store site is an effort to provide local retails and craftspeople the opportunity to sell products on-line in preparation of the Glenn Beck visit on Dec. 15th.

Each vendor will have an individualized vendor page they can list products and accept payment using PayPal.

The website has a tentative testing date of 12-6-2010 and start up date of 12-10-2010. There could be up to 50 vendors and over a 1,000 items offered on the site. We would recommend you list items which you can get in large quantity. If you are computer inclined and are able to list your own products please help us out by doing so. If you have the computer ability and are willing to help out your fellow merchants by assisting them with their product listings it would be very appreciated. Here is checklist of items to be completed if you would like a vendor page on the site:

(1) Sign up at http://signup.wilmingtongeneralstore.com
(2) Set-up a PayPal account (if you don't already have one). You can sign up for PayPal at http://bit.ly/dwGHM5. Select the "Website Payment Standard" option for businesses. When your PayPal account is set, please send the e-mail address associated with the account to merchants@wilmingtongeneralstore.com
(3) Complete the form at http://bio.wilmingtongeneralstore.com
(4) Complete this product form and e-mail it to merchants@wilmingtongeneralstore.com. We will enter up to 25 products for you. You may log-on and add additional items on your own.
(5) E-mail us your store logo and a picture of the business owners to merchants@wilmingtongeneralstore.com. If you need help with photos, let us know.
