Owners: Marcia and Brad Bergefurd and Family

Business Description: We are a small family owned and operated farm 10 miles south of Wilmington, Ohio, at the junction of US 68 South and State Route 350 West near the small town of Cuba. Marcia, Brad, daughter Ashley, and sons Brandon, Bryant and Brady and grandson Ethan all pitch in to seed, plant, tend, hoe, pull weeds, harvest and care for our 40 acres of home grown vegetables, flowers and fruit crops in our fields and greenhouses as well as caring for our flock of 100 free range laying hens and other livestock. We believe that raising our children on the farm helps them to learn a good work ethic, provides them the opportunity to work next to their parents, brothers and sister, and helps them build good personal skills by working with customers at the home Farm Market and at Farmers Market. In the fall season we offer school and group tours to educate others the importance of farms, farmers and raising livestock and crops in everyone's everyday lives. We also operate a members only CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) Share program which allows our members to enjoy family farm raised garden varieties (non shipping types) of small fruit, melons and vegetables selected by their very own personal family of farmers. By subscribing for the growing season you are guaranteed a weekly harvest share and delivery of the freshest produce available.
