Clinton Community Fellows Interest Survey
The Clinton Community Fellows Program has now moved beyond the planning stage. With generous funding support from the Cornerstone Foundation and the Clinton County Foundation and positive feedback from the business community we are ready to launch. To all of you who responded to the first survey, we thank you. If you did not respond to the first Fellows survey, here is another opportunity and a recap of the program.
The Clinton Community Fellows Program will provide an opportunity for young business leaders to develop valuable skills and experience by partnering with local businesses. Under the supervision and mentorship of the Clinton County Regional Planning Commission, the Wilmington Clinton County Chamber of Commerce, Clinton County Leadership Institute, and Energize Clinton County, Fellows will work on a project basis with business partners to provide additional capacity to assist local businesses in achieving their strategic objectives.
In addition to the hands-on business development experience, Fellows will take part in networking, volunteer projects, and other community-oriented activities to help them make connections and identify opportunities for long-term employment in the community.
Recruitment of Fellows will begin immediately and we are seeking locally-connected college upperclassmen and recent college graduates who have a passion for living and working in a rural/small town setting. The program will match skills with needs and all majors are encouraged to apply.
As this exciting program begins, we are seeking your input to understand the areas of your business that would benefit from the capacity provided by a Fellow. We greatly appreciate your time responding to this brief survey. If you have additional questions, or would like to learn more about how you can support the Clinton Community Fellows Program financially, please e-mail Lori Williams at lwilliams@clintoncountyrpc.org.
If you know of any potential Fellows applicants, please have them visit clintoncommunityfellows.org for more information and to access the online application.
Thank you for your input!
